Tweet of Strength: This Week in HashCraft

The first rule of HashCraft: Everybody talks about HashCraft.

We pose the questions. We create the scenarios. You take our Twitter feed to Grandmaster status. Here are some of our favorite responses to the past week's #SC2Tag tweets.

@StarCraft

Raynor: "Because the one thing I know, some things are just worth fighting for." Your turn: "Because the one thing I know..." #SC2Tag

@VharStar

@StarCraft Because the one thing I know, is that some quotes are just worth tweeting for. #SC2Tag

@IsMyNerdShowing

"Because the one thing I know, Blizzcon tickets are worth fighting for!" #SC2Tag

 @DrumJ8

Because if there's one thing I know, I remember the times when the cost of Vespene gas used to be a under $2... #SC2Tag

@Klutar

Because if there's one thing I know, I miss my lurkers. #BroodWarFTW #SC2Tag

@Burningwave

#sc2tag Cause if there's one thing I know, tomorrow is Saturday, and Sunday comes afterwards.

@StarCraft

Horace Warfield replaced his right arm with a cannon. What would you replace your right arm with? #SC2Tag

@Exal_online

@StarCraft I'd replace my right arm with a Horace Warfield #SC2Tag

@Wogrim

@Starcraft I'd replace my right arm with 2 right arms so I can always keep a hand on the mouse #SC2Tag

@Velhenn

@StarCraft I wouldn't replace it, cause having a right hand is imba. #SC2Tag

@Mauritiob

@StarCraft I would replace my arm with the arm of oGs.MC, so I can match his macro speed #SC2Tag

An SCV, a drone, and a probe enter the ring. Which unit makes it out alive and why? #SC2Tag

AchieveCraft #4 -Yippee-Ki-Yay
April 19, 2011 at 10:00 AM

In this series of StarCraft II blog articles, we will explore some of the more challenging and unusual StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty solo play achievements.

Moebius has lost contact with a team sent to investigate the Xel'Naga artifact on the planet Xil. Mysterious activity in the area leads Jim Raynor and Tychus Findlay to the planet's surface to take a look, and what they encounter is a massive temple door -- and an even more massive laser drill to play with.

The mission is The Dig, your introduction to siege tanks, and ostensibly an exercise in playing defense, as waves of protoss attack your position while you drill. Your base is set up on a strategic rise, with two ramps that provide chokepoints for defense and the advantage of elevation for your siege tanks. Resources are plentiful.

But the achievement Yippee-ki-yay is a tough matter. You're required to "Destroy 50 Protoss structures on Hard difficulty" to earn those 10 points. The northern and northeastern areas of the map are positively teeming with protoss and protoss structures. You can't see them (and therefore target them with the laser drill) from this distance, so your only option is to scout them out in person.

Zealots, stalkers, colossi, immortals, archons and high templar are all bearing down on your base. How are you ever going to take out 50 of their structures? Surely there's an easy solution floating around somewhere...

Has this achievement got you stumped? What strategy do you suggest? You can help others by telling us all about it in the comments below!
